So this is my first official review of a eatery - bear with me as I figure out the format!

Onion review: Because this was a spur of the moment outing I didn't have time to call ahead and speak to the staff. When I got there I looked at the menu and asked the waitress what was in the Burger patty and she said that they were made by the local butcher but couldn't guarantee that they didn't have onions in. They probably would have been ok - as unless they had onion pieces in I doubt a local butcher would put onion powder in.
I turned to the BBQ chicken as my 2nd option - "does the BBQ sauce have onion powder in?" - yes!
3rd option - I asked could they do a plain chicken burger with cheese - and sure enough they were happy to do that! (It should be noted that some places can't do a bespoke order as it's all made up at the start of the day or there is no chef or it's all reheated in packets - so this was a good sign for me)
The burger arrived and the chips didn't taste of onion (if the fryer oil isn't cleaned regularly and is also used for onion rings I get a reaction to the chips too)
All in all a good meal with relatively little fuss to get something I can eat! I would come back here!
